EARLY MORNING
Rain is likely from the start of the day with a very high chance of precipitation around 90 to 95 percent. Temperatures will sit close to freezing at around 0 to 3°C. Winds will be easterly to east-north-easterly at around 10 mph with gusts near 20 mph, making it feel particularly cold.

MIDDAY
Cloudy skies persist with continued rain through late morning and midday. Temperatures rise only slightly to about 4 or 5°C. Winds strengthen from the north-east at 11 to 13 mph with gusts up to 26 or 27 mph, producing a raw feel.

AFTERNOON
Rain remains widespread through the afternoon with very high precipitation chances continuing. Temperatures hold near 4°C. Winds remain brisk from the north-east at around 13 mph with gusts approaching 28 mph, maintaining cold and uncomfortable conditions.

EVENING
Rain gradually turns patchier during the evening with a chance of sleet as temperatures fall to 2 or 3°C and then below freezing. Overnight lows drop to around -2°C, creating a risk of icy surfaces. Winds ease slightly but stay northerly to north-north-easterly at around 9 to 12 mph with gusts near 20 mph.
