Nottinghamshire weather for Monday 27 July

Monday 27 July is forecast to start cloudy and unsettled, with the chance of rain highest during the morning before conditions turn brighter and mostly dry later.

Temperatures are expected to reach around 23C during the afternoon and early evening.

Early morning

Monday will begin cloudy with a risk of rain in places. The chance of rain is around 30% by 7am, rising to 40% at 8am and 50% by 9am.

Temperatures are expected to rise from around 15C at 7am to 16C by 8am and 17C by 9am. Winds will come from the west at around 5mph to 6mph, with gusts increasing from around 17mph to 20mph.

Visibility is expected to remain very good, although conditions will feel fairly humid, with humidity around 79% at 7am, easing to 73% by 9am.

Midday

Late morning and lunchtime will remain changeable, with cloud and some brighter spells. The chance of rain stays around 50% at 10am, before falling to 30% at 11am and around 10% by midday.

Temperatures are forecast to rise from 17C at 10am to 18C by 11am and 19C by midday. The “feels like” temperature will be slightly lower, around 16C to 18C.

Winds will remain from the west at around 7mph, with gusts reaching around 22mph to 23mph. Visibility will stay very good, while humidity will fall to around 59% by midday.

UV levels will rise to moderate levels, reaching around 5 by late morning and 6 at lunchtime.

Afternoon

The afternoon is expected to become drier and brighter, with sunny spells developing and the chance of rain falling below 5%.

Temperatures are forecast to reach around 20C by 1pm, 21C by 2pm and 23C by 3pm and 4pm. The “feels like” temperature will be around 19C to 22C.

Winds will continue from the west at around 7mph, with gusts around 22mph to 23mph. Visibility will remain very good throughout the afternoon.

Humidity will fall to around 43% by mid-afternoon. UV levels will remain moderate to high early in the afternoon, around 6, before easing later.

Evening

The evening will stay mostly dry, with some sunny intervals early on before cloudier conditions develop later.

Temperatures are expected to remain around 23C at 5pm and 6pm, before easing to 22C at 7pm and 8pm. It will stay mild later in the evening, with temperatures around 21C at 9pm and 20C at 10pm and 11pm.

Winds will come mainly from the west, later turning west-south-westerly, at around 5mph to 7mph. Gusts will ease from around 23mph early in the evening to around 15mph by 11pm.

Visibility will remain very good, while humidity will rise from around 46% at 5pm to 70% by 11pm. The chance of rain remains below 5% throughout the evening.
