Early morning

The day will start cloudy and wet, with temperatures around 13°C from 5am to 10am. The chance of rain is greater than 95% from 5am to 7am, easing to 90% by 8am, 80% at 9am and 60% by 10am. Winds will come from the south-south-west to west at around 9 to 11 mph, with gusts between 20 and 23 mph. UV levels will remain low at 1.

Late morning and lunchtime should see conditions gradually improve, although some rain remains possible. Temperatures will rise to 14°C by 11am and midday. The chance of rain falls to around 40% at 11am and midday. Winds will turn westerly to west-north-westerly at around 9 to 10 mph, with gusts close to 22 to 23 mph. UV levels will rise to 4 around 11am and midday.

Afternoon

The afternoon is expected to become brighter and mostly dry, with sunny intervals developing. Temperatures will reach 15°C at 1pm, then 16°C from 2pm to 5pm. The chance of rain falls from 30% at 1pm to 20% at 2pm, 10% at 3pm and 4pm, and remains around 10% by 5pm. Winds will be mainly west-north-westerly at around 11 mph, with gusts between 25 and 26 mph. UV levels will peak at 5 around 1pm and 2pm before easing to 4 at 3pm and 3 by 4pm.

Evening

The evening should be mostly dry with sunny spells at first, followed by clearer skies later. Temperatures will stay around 16°C at 6pm and 7pm, before easing to 15°C by 8pm, 14°C at 9pm, 13°C at 10pm and 12°C by 11pm. The chance of rain remains around 10% for most of the evening, falling below 5% by 11pm. Winds will be mainly westerly to west-south-westerly at around 9 to 11 mph, with gusts easing from about 23 mph to 15 mph later. UV levels will be low in the evening, falling from 1 before fading after sunset.
