The weather forecast for Monday 9 December in Nottinghamshire.
After a wet and windy Sunday, Nottinghamshire can expect a more subdued start to the week with calmer weather conditions, mostly cloudy skies, and mild temperatures.
Morning
Monday morning will begin with a steady blanket of cloud cover. The chance of rain remains low, around 10–20% from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Temperatures will start at 7°C, though a brisk north-northeast wind of 12 mph will make it feel slightly cooler at around 3–4°C. Wind gusts will reach up to 28–29 mph during the early hours, but conditions will remain generally dry. Humidity levels will hover between 83% and 84%, and visibility is expected to remain “Very Good.”
Afternoon
By the afternoon, the temperature will reach a mild peak of 8°C. The cloud cover will persist with little to no chance of sunshine, and rain chances stay low at just 20%. Winds will shift slightly towards the northeast at sustained speeds of 13–15 mph, with gusts increasing slightly to around 31–32 mph.
Evening
The evening sees the temperature gradually decrease back to 7°C, with the “feels-like” temperature remaining stable at around 3–4°C. The wind will ease slightly, dropping to 12–14 mph, with gusts reducing to 30 mph. Rain chances fall even lower, to less than 10%, providing a dry and calm end to the day. Humidity will remain consistent at around 77%, and visibility will continue to be “Very Good.”
Wind
Although the wind is not as strong as on Sunday, the sustained speeds of 12–15 mph combined with gusts of up to 32 mph may still create a chill in the air, particularly during the morning and afternoon.
