Nottinghamshire weather for Sunday 12 July

Sunday 12 July is forecast to be warm, sunny and dry, with temperatures reaching around 27C during the afternoon.

Rain is unlikely throughout the day, with the chance of precipitation staying below 5%.

Early morning

Sunday will start dry, with some cloud around early on before brighter spells develop. Temperatures are expected to be around 17C at 6am and 7am, rising to 19C by 8am and 20C by 9am.

Winds will come from the north-east or east-north-east at around 8mph to 9mph. Gusts will be stronger, reaching around 23mph to 26mph during the early morning.

Visibility is expected to be very good, while humidity will be high at first, around 84% at 6am, gradually falling to 65% by 9am. Rain is not expected.

Midday

Conditions will become brighter and warmer through late morning and lunchtime, with sunny spells and dry weather continuing.

Temperatures are forecast to rise from 22C at 10am to 24C by 11am and 26C by midday. The “feels like” temperature will be slightly lower, around 21C to 24C.

Winds will remain from the east-north-east at around 9mph, with gusts increasing to around 28mph to 30mph by late morning and midday. Visibility will remain very good.

Humidity will fall to around 40% by midday. UV levels will rise quickly, reaching 5 by 10am, 6 by 11am and 7 at midday, so sun protection is advisable for anyone spending time outdoors.

Afternoon

The afternoon is forecast to be warm, dry and sunny. Temperatures are expected to reach around 27C from 1pm through to 4pm, with the “feels like” temperature around 25C to 26C.

The chance of rain remains below 5%. Winds will continue from the east-north-east at around 9mph, with gusts around 30mph to 31mph at times.

Visibility will stay very good, and humidity will remain fairly low, around 39% to 40%. UV levels will remain high during the early afternoon, around 7 between midday and 2pm, before easing later.

Evening

The evening will stay dry, with sunshine continuing into the early evening before clear spells develop later.

Temperatures are expected to fall from around 26C at 5pm to 25C by 6pm, 23C by 7pm and 21C by 8pm. It will turn cooler later, dropping to 19C by 9pm, 17C by 10pm and 16C by 11pm.

Winds will remain from the east-north-east or north-east at around 9mph to 10mph, with gusts easing from around 31mph early in the evening to around 22mph by 11pm.

Visibility will remain very good. Humidity will rise through the evening, from around 40% at 5pm to 74% by 11pm. The chance of rain remains below 5% throughout.
