Early morning
The day will begin cloudy, with skies overcast from the early hours. There is a low to moderate chance of a brief light shower around dawn, though many places will remain dry. Temperatures will be around 7°C, making for a relatively mild start to the day. Winds will be light from the south-east at around 3 mph, increasing only slowly through the morning.

Midday
Through late morning into midday, cloud will remain widespread with little sign of brightness. Rain chances stay low, generally around 20 to 30 per cent, with any showers expected to be light and short-lived. Temperatures will rise gradually to around 9°C by midday. Winds will remain gentle, veering slightly towards the south-south-east at 4 to 5 mph.

Afternoon
The afternoon will be mild and largely dry, though skies will stay grey. Temperatures will peak at around 10°C, making it the warmest part of the day. The risk of light rain increases slightly at times, but any rainfall is expected to be patchy and light. Winds will remain light to moderate from the south-east at around 5 mph, with gusts reaching 11 to 13 mph in more exposed areas.

Evening
During the evening, cloud will continue to dominate, with dry conditions expected for most areas. Temperatures will hold near 9°C before slowly dipping later in the night. Winds will freshen slightly from the south-east to south-south-east, around 6 to 7 mph, but conditions will remain calm and settled overall.
