From 13:00, the cloud cover persists, with rain increasing again in the late afternoon, peaking at 80% between 17:00 and 23:00.

Rain, possibly persistent and occasionally heavy, will continue across the region overnight, accompanied by strong winds along the Lincolnshire coast. Cooler showery conditions may develop to the west towards dawn. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Friday:

Early rain clearing Friday, leaving a brisk northerly wind, sunny spells and perhaps an isolated shower in the afternoon. Winds easing into the evening to give a cold, clear night. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Drier over the weekend with lighter winds, but a few showers still possible at times. Later Sunday rain and strong winds are expected to return, continuing into Monday.
