A largely cloudy day with light winds, turning increasingly damp later with persistent evening rain.

EARLY MORNING
It will be mostly cloudy from dawn with only a small chance of rain at first. Temperatures start near 4°C, rising gradually to around 7°C by late morning. Winds will be light easterly at around 7 to 8 mph with gusts up to 17 mph, giving a chilly feel.

MIDDAY
Cloud cover continues through late morning and midday with a growing chance of patchy rain developing. Temperatures hold steady around 7°C. Winds ease slightly and turn east-south-easterly at around 6 to 7 mph, gusting near 16 mph.

AFTERNOON
The risk of rain increases through the afternoon, becoming more frequent and widespread later. Temperatures edge up to about 8°C. Winds remain light from the ESE at around 6 mph with gusts around 14 to 15 mph, so it will feel cool but fairly calm.

EVENING
Rain becomes persistent into the evening with an 80 to 90 percent chance of wet weather lasting through the night. Temperatures remain close to 8°C before slipping to 6 or 7°C later. Winds stay light, mainly easterly or north-easterly at around 5 to 6 mph, with gusts between 11 and 13 mph.
