Plenty of cloud around to start, but brighter conditions developing as clouds lift and break through the morning with plenty of sunny spells into the afternoon. Largely dry but a few isolated showers from midday. Feeling warm with light winds. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Tonight:

Any showers will dissipate into the evening, resulting in a dry night with variable cloud and some clear spells. Winds remaining light. Minimum temperature 13 °C.

Wednesday:

Patchy cloud and sunny spells expected, with a few isolated showers developing from late morning. Becoming cloudy overnight with outbreaks of drizzle, mostly across the Peak District. Winds remaining light. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Thursday will be largely cloudy but bright, with showers developing later. Friday and Saturday see sunny spells and showers, heavy at times, but these will mostly dissipate overnight. Winds light.
