Nottinghamshire is in for a day of changing weather conditions today, Monday, 17 July 2023.
The day is expected to start with sunny intervals, but the skies will gradually turn cloudy by late morning, according to the Met Office.
The maximum daytime temperature is forecast to reach 21 degrees Celsius, while the minimum nighttime temperature is expected to drop to 12 degrees Celsius.
Despite the cloud cover, the UV index is predicted to be high.
The Met Office also reports low levels of pollution and pollen for the day, which is good news for those with allergies or respiratory conditions.
Looking ahead, Tuesday, 18 July, is expected to see a drop in temperature with a maximum of 17 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius.
The weather will shift from cloudy in the morning to heavy rain in the afternoon. The UV index will be moderate, and pollution and pollen levels will remain low.
The rest of the week will see a mix of sunny intervals, light showers, and cloudy periods, with temperatures ranging from 11 to 20 degrees Celsius.
A bright start with sunny spells for many, but showers will quickly develop through the morning, turning heavy at times, before gradually easing later in the afternoon. Rather breezy, so feeling cool for the time of year. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Showers will die out quickly this evening, with some late sunshine across the region. Cloud will increase overnight, with intermittent rain possible in the west by dawn tomorrow. Minimum temperature 12 °C.
