The Met Office also issued a warning about an Atlantic low-pressure system bringing unseasonably strong winds, heavy rain, or showers to many places across the UK over the coming days.

Looking ahead, Monday’s weather seems to be similar, with a maximum temperature of 20°C and a minimum of 12°C. The weather will be cloudy, changing to light showers by late morning.
Perhaps on the cloudy side at first, but brightening up with some sunny spells but also scattered blustery showers. Some of these showers will be heavy, with a small chance of hail and thunder. Feeling rather cool given the wind. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Showers gradually fading and winds easing overnight. Perhaps remaining rather cloudy in the west with one or two light showers here for a time, before also becoming dry here later. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
