Nottinghamshire weather forecast for Wednesday 23 August

According to the latest forecast from the Met Office, Nottinghamshire will experience a shift from cloudy conditions to heavy rain by late morning.

The day starts with temperatures hovering around 14°C at 8:00 am, gradually rising to an expected high of 21°C by 4:00 pm.

The chance of rain is highest around 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with an 80% likelihood of rain. As the day progresses, the rain is expected to subside, with less than a 5% chance of precipitation by the afternoon.

Thursday:

Cloudy with rain or showers for many, perhaps heavy with a low risk of thunder in the south. Clearing later with sunny spells. However, confidence in the detail is low. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Sunshine and showers through this period, showers heavy at times and possibly thundery on Saturday. Temperatures near or slightly below average.
