Late morning and midday
By late morning, showers will begin to ease, though patchy drizzle could persist for a time. Temperatures will struggle to rise beyond 9–10°C. Winds will remain brisk from the north-north-west at 16–17 mph. Visibility will improve, and conditions will start to brighten gradually with cloud thinning in places.
Afternoon
The afternoon will turn mainly dry with broken cloud and the odd brief light shower. Temperatures will peak around 10–11°C, but the strong north-westerly breeze (around 17–18 mph, gusting 30–35 mph) will make it feel several degrees cooler. Air clarity will improve to “very good” later in the day as the rain clears and humidity drops towards 70%.
Evening
The evening will stay mostly dry and breezy under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will drop quickly after sunset, reaching around 7°C by 9pm and as low as 3°C overnight. Winds will ease slightly but remain from the west-north-west at 15–17 mph. Visibility will be excellent, but the strong wind will maintain a cool feel.
