Hourly Heatwave forecast: Nottinghamshire weather – 41ºC to bake the region on Tuesday.

The Met Office is forecasting temperatures of 41ºC on Tuesday 19 July across the Midlands.

Today, Monday 18 July will see heat begin to build in the morning and an afternoon temperature of 37ºC – night time temperatures are forecast to be now lower than 23ºC.

Dry with widespread sunshine into the afternoon as any early cloud melts away. Becoming very hot as temperatures rise quickly into the day, with only a light breeze for most. Maximum temperature 37 °C.

Tonight:

Patchy cloud likely into the evening and overnight but staying dry. Temperatures remaining very warm for all, but particularly so for urban areas. Minimum temperature 23 °C.

Tuesday:

Another exceptionally hot day and night on Tuesday, with plenty of sunshine by day. Generally dry but the odd shower is possible into the evening and overnight. Maximum temperature 41 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Turning cooler and cloudier Wednesday, with showers or longer spells of rain at times. Sunny spells returning for Thursday and Friday, staying somewhat cooler with the odd shower possible.
