Nottinghamshire Weather: Bank Holiday Monday 25 August

Monday will bring hot, sunny, summer-like conditions, ideal for outdoor plans but with temperatures climbing into the high twenties, it will feel very warm in direct sunshine.

The weather forecast for Monday 25 August in Nottinghamshire.

In the early morning, skies will already be clear with sunshine from first light. Temperatures will begin at 15°C around 06:00, rising quickly to 18°C by 09:00. Winds will be light from the south, and humidity will gradually ease back from around 70 per cent to the mid-60s as the morning goes on.

By midday, the sun will be strong and unbroken. Temperatures will climb steadily, reaching 23°C at 11:00 and 24°C by noon. Visibility will be very good, with only a light southerly breeze, making for hot and still conditions.

In the afternoon, the heat will build further. Temperatures will peak at 27°C between 16:00 and 17:00, remaining at 26°C through much of the late afternoon. Winds will freshen slightly from the south but remain light, providing little relief from the warmth. Sunshine will dominate throughout.

During the evening, the weather will stay clear with temperatures slowly falling. It will still feel warm at 26°C at 19:00, dipping to 21°C by 22:00 and 19°C by late evening. The chance of rain will remain negligible, and visibility excellent under clear skies.
