Nottinghamshire is forecast to enjoy a largely dry and sunny Monday, with temperatures climbing from a chilly 7C early in the morning to around 18C during the afternoon.
The Met Office forecast shows the chance of rain staying below 5% throughout the day, with generally light winds.
Early morning
Monday will start cold and clear, with temperatures around 8C at 5am, dropping to 7C at 6am and 7am.
Clear skies are expected before sunshine develops from around 7am onwards.
Winds will be very light, generally from the south-west or west-south-west at only 1–2mph.
Midday
Temperatures will rise steadily through the morning, reaching 10C at 9am, 11C at 10am and 13C by 11am.
By midday it should be around 15C, with prolonged sunshine and less than a 5% chance of
rain.
Winds remain light at around 2mph.
Afternoon
The warmest part of the day comes during the afternoon, with temperatures reaching 16C at 1pm, 17C at 2pm and around 18C by 3pm.
Sunny conditions gradually give way to some cloudier intervals later in the afternoon, but the weather remains dry.
Evening
Temperatures stay fairly mild initially, at around 18C at 5pm, falling to 17C at 6pm and 16C at 7pm.
Clear skies then develop for the evening, with temperatures dropping to 15C at 8pm, 14C at 9pm, 13C at 10pm and around 12C by 11pm.
Winds turn easterly during the evening and strengthen slightly to around 5mph, with gusts of around 15mph possible.
