A murky and mild day. Outbreaks of rain, perhaps heavy at times, in the far northwest of the region. Elsewhere mostly dry and cloudy, but perhaps the odd spot of drizzle. Some brighter spells possible in the southeast. Breezy later. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Tonight:
Mostly cloudy this evening, perhaps with some isolated fog patches. Outbreaks of rain moving southeastwards to all parts, but easing overnight to become light and patchy. Winds easing. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Tuesday:
Cloudy and damp start with outbreaks of drizzle. This slowly breaking from the northwest, becoming dry and bright later for many. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Dry much of Wednesday, with occasionally heavy rain overnight. Mostly dry Thursday and Friday, but some rain likely over the Peak District. Strong and gusty winds at times. Becoming mild.
