Any early low cloud clearing to leave a dry and warm day with plenty of sunshine. Areas of low cloud, mist and fog will linger along the coast into the afternoon however, spreading back inland into the evening. Maximum temperature 24 °C.
Tonight:
Patchy low cloud, mist and fog overnight, spreading inland from the coast, but some clear spells for many and conditions staying dry. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Sunday:
Early low cloud and fog lifting and clearing. Otherwise bright and warm with thundery afternoon showers possibly developing across the Pennines later. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Turning cooler, with showers possible Monday and some more persistent rain on Tuesday. Wednesday brighter once again but the risk of showers continues.
