Outbreaks of rain or drizzle possible at first, mainly in the north, these soon becoming restricted to the Peak District. Briefly dry with brighter spells at first this afternoon, further rain then sweeping east across the region. Mild and breezy. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Temperatures remaining consistent in the early hours before a slight rise midday, followed by a return to the early morning averages. While the morning starts with a lower chance of rain, from the afternoon onwards, there is an increased likelihood, peaking in the evening.

Generally cloudy with some rain in the east at first. Drier and becoming brighter elsewhere with some sunny spells later. Scattered showers possible over western hills. Mild with light winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Increasing cloud and wind on Saturday ahead of heavy rain arriving by the evening. Sunshine on Sunday but feeling breezy. Dry start Monday, showers later. Staying mild.
