Cloud and rain in the north gradually clearing, with a brief drier interlude, before a further band of rain or showers, locally heavy, moves northward overnight. Mild, with light winds. Minimum temperature 13 °C.

Wednesday:

A rather cloudy day, with further outbreaks of rain and drizzle, especially on the Derbyshire hills. Drier and brighter, with some sunny spells developing elsewhere. Warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
