A 31-year-old woman and 28-year-old man are due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court charged in connection with the assault of a police officer.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred when officers attempted to disperse a gathering in Brand Lane, Sutton-in-Ashfield, at around 6.40 pm last night (7 April 2020).
Amy Pitchford, 31 of Brand lane Sutton-in-Ashfield and Alex Hatton, 28, of Brand Lane Sutton-in-Ashfield are both charged with assaulting an emergency worker in connection with the incident.
Pitchford and Hatton have been released on bail until their court appearance on 4 June 2020.
