NTU wins at prestigious fashion awards

Nottingham Trent University lived up to its home city’s lace making and textile heritage by winning six out of the eight awards up for grabs at last night’s Fashanne – Fashion Designers of the Future Awards.

Showcasing the fantastic fashion design talent in our universities Fashanne aims to connect the next generation with industry and has brought together some of Britain’s most iconic fashion and retail brands including Paul Smith, John Smedley, Pentland and Next to name but a few, to help foster and nurture these young designers.

The winners will now be offered internships and mentoring from their category sponsor, building long-term sustainable connections in a fiercely competitive industry.
