Nurse has car window smashed and laptop stolen while visiting Nottingham patients

A 37-year-old man has been charged after items belonging to a key worker were taken from a car in Bilborough.

Gareth Gilson, of Minver Crescent, is charged with theft and five counts of fraud by false representation in connection with the incident.

Police were called after a District Nurse visiting patients in Bilborough on 31 March returned to her car to find its window had been smashed.

A bag, containing the nurse’s bank cards and a laptop, had been taken from the car and her cards were found to have been used in several shops.

Gilson was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court this morning.
