Pictures: Occupants and dog escape after lorry crushes car in high winds

The incident happened on the A6 in Derbyshire today. 

The lorry was blown onto the family car after Storm Eunice battered the Midlands today.

Police said:

‘Time to heed the warnings about Storm Eunice and stay at home.

‘Through no fault of their own, the occupants of this car had a near death experience when a lorry blew over on top of them on the A6 at Dove Holes.

‘Amazingly only minor injuries, dog ok too.’

Incident number is 588 of 18/02/22.
