Staff at Trent Vale Infant School in Beeston Rylands are delighted that OFSTED inspectors have recognised the quality of care and education provided.
The school has been rated as Good for its latest inspection, with Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare rated as Outstanding.
“I’m thrilled that the OFSTED inspector can clearly see the fantastic efforts my staff have made to give our children the opportunities they deserve,” said Executive Headteacher Jackie Moss.
“But more importantly she recognised the value the school places on promoting the personal development and welfare of pupils. I’ve worked in education for more than 30 years but it remains a delight to see how children who join us as young as three flourish and grow in confidence.”
The school on Trent Road has 42 pupils in its nursery and 128 aged four to seven as infants.
“Both of my sons have been pupils at Trent Vale and it was the exceptional start to their education which made me determined to become a governor,” said Chair of Governors Lisa Shepherd.
“OFSTED’s inspector Christine Watkins rightly commented that children get off to a strong start in the early years and added that they take great pride in their work as seen in the quality of their workbooks across a wide range of subjects.”
Trent Vale Infant School is determined to build on its success and continually strives to ensure each individual child reaches both their academic and social potential.
