536 properties are estimated to be without electricity.
WPD said:
‘We are aware of this power cut incident which was raised at 3:56pm this afternoon and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible.

NG12 post codes are affected.
In an update WPD said that engineers were on their way at 4:18 pm.
An estimate of when power will be restored suggests that that time has already passed.
