The incident has happened just off the roundabout for A50 / M1 / A543.
Leicestershire Police said:
‘Please be aware that we are currently dealing with a collision on the A50 at Lockington. The A50 is closed between Junctions 24 and 24A of the M1, and the junction with Church St. Please use alternative routes, thank you.’
