Discounted parking in Nottingham city to support the opening of hospitality businesses

As part of Nottingham BID’s reopening campaign, Let’s Go Nottingham, the organisation has partnered with National Car Parks (NCP) to provide a bespoke parking offer which will allow two hours of parking for £3.50 at any NCP site in Nottingham between the hours of 17.30-23.59.

The parking offer has been put in place to encourage visitors back to the city centre to enjoy a safe night out – whether that is to see a show, watch a movie, see a band, take advantage of a late night appointment at one of the city’s salons or to visit a favourite restaurant again.

The offer is available through NCP’s ParkPass App, which is free to download and easy to set up.  Payment details and the SaverID: Notts BID need to be registered for it to allow the discount.

To put Nottingham firmly back on the map as a city of destination Nottingham BID have implemented a campaign, under the branding Let’s Go, to create awareness of the city’s unique offering and to rebuild confidence in the city centre as a great, and safe place to live, work, visit and do business.

Lucy Stanford, Director of Operations at Nottingham BID said: “Let’s Go Nottingham is all about getting back out there and experiencing everything the city has to offer following a long year of lockdowns.

“As businesses reopen and restrictions lift, Nottingham BID is encouraging Nottingham’s community to safely return to the city and enjoy themselves once again. So whether you have a favourite shop, restaurant or bar, now is the time to pay them a visit and support them through what will hopefully be one of the final chapters in an extremely challenging period.”

Ms Stanford goes on to remind visitors: “Safety is still vitally important as Nottingham begins to fully reopen, so please remember: ‘Hands, Face, Space’ as you get back to enjoying the city.”
