After similar issues in 2020 police warned:

‘We continue to receive complaints from local residents who live nearby the woods regarding evening and night time gatherings.

‘This noise, litter evidence of fires being lit from a particular group of people frequenting this location is amounting to anti-social behaviour and is having an impact on those that live by, use and enjoy this location, including wildlife.

‘Please be considerate to all users of the woods, including the preservation of wildlife by taking your litter away with you.

‘‘Any further evidence of the woods not being used responsibly will be dealt with robustly and the area may then be subject to dispersal powers being utilised.’
