The cordon has been set up on Parliament Street.
Nottinghamshire Police said: “Officers are currently in attendance at a road traffic accident outside the Victoria Centre, in Nottingham city centre.
“We were called shortly after 2pm today (23 November), to reports of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian.
“One woman is reported to be injured but her condition is currently unknown.
“Road closures are currently in place on Upper Parliament Street between Glasshouse street and Milton Street so we are asking drivers and members of the public to please avoid the area.”Anyone with any information or who witnessed the incident is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 372 of 23 November 2022.
Nottingham Travelwise said:
‘Police have closed Upper Parliament St. eastbound close to Market St. junction.
This is leading to delays on Upper Parliament, Shakespeare St., South Sherwood St. so please allow extra time for your journey or use an alternative route.’
An ambulance crew is at the scene.

‘Due to an incident at the junction of Milton Street and Parliament Street, all services serving Victoria Centre (L2, L5, L14, X2) will be starting and finising at Burton Street (stop T8) instead.’
Nottingham City Transport said: “There are severe delays on most services due to an incident on Parliament Street in the City Centre.
“Due to an incident in the City Centre, please catch Green 5-9, Navy 49 and Orange 34 from their Angel Row stops. Fletcher Gate, George Street and Parliament Street stops are not served.”
NCT said: “Due to a City Centre incident, Pink 28, 30 are serving their Upper Parliament Street stop only. Orange 35, 36 are serving Angel Row only.
“Turquoise 77, 78, 79/A are using stop M2 outside the lighting shop and Cathedral named stops only.
“Due to a City Centre incident, services 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 50 are terminating at the Pryzm named stop.
“Due to a City Centre incident, services 15, 16, 17, 45, 46, 47, 56, 57, 58, 59, 68, 69, 70, 71, 87, 88, 89 are using Burton Street, down the side of the Cornerhouse.”
