Pepe’s Piri Piri the UK’s largest chicken fast food brand to open in West Bridgford

The fast food outlet will take the unit next to C Brompton Butchers.

The shop was most recently a chicken takeaway Pluk’d and before that Chao Chao – it’s been empty for over a year.

The business has outlets in Long Row Nottingham city centre, Sneinton Dale and Beechdale Road too.

Pepe’s Story starts with an opening in London in 2004.

At the time, Piri Piri was virtually unknown in the UK and available in a handful of places.

They were the first to use the name Piri Piri as branding and maybe a sense of curiosity attracted the first customers.

Piri Piri has now become a nationally recognised dish.

Today, Pepe’s is the largest Piri Piri Chicken franchise in the UK with over 150 stores and growing across the whole UK.

Piri Piri chicken has spread across the globe and the business has now opened stores in Pakistan and Ireland.

The chicken is prepared freshly in store and gets grilled while you wait.

Pepe’s Piri Piri Chicken offers a vibrant menu centered around flame-grilled chicken marinated in their signature piri piri sauces, ranging from mild to extra hot. The menu includes wraps, burgers, wings, platters, and sides like peri fries, rice, and corn, catering to both quick bites and hearty meals with a bold, spicy twist.
