A person has died in Nottingham after an incident near Nottingham Railway Station.
British Transport Police said officers were called at 1pm on Wednesday ( 9 December ) to reports of an injured person outside the station.
“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers are working to identify the deceased and inform their next of kin.
“This incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
An air ambulance was also called out and was seen hovering the area.
East Midlands Ambulance said: “We received a call at 12.44pm on 9 December to Queen’s Road in Nottingham.
“The caller reported a medical emergency. We sent two paramedics in fast response cars and a double-crewed ambulance. The air ambulance was also in attendance.”
