Nottingham services are affected.
East Midlands Raikways said:
‘We are sad to report that a person has been hit by a train.
‘This has occurred between Nottingham and East Midlands Parkway/Derby and is disrupting our trains on the Nottingham/London St Pancras, Newark Castle/Crewe and Leicester/Lincoln/Grimsby routes.
’Emergency services are now on site and managing the situation.’
