Liverpool – Nottingham services are affected.
East Midlands Railways said:
‘We are sad to report that a person has been hit by a train between Stockport and Sheffield, delays and alterations are expected.
“This has occurred between Stockport and Sheffield is disrupting our trains on the Liverpool / Nottingham / Norwich route.
“At present emergency services are en-route to manage the incident. They are expected to arrive at 4pm”
