Pets & Friends, which was purchased by a Nottingham-based family business in August, has announced investment in its Gamston site opposite Morrisons.
Pets & Friends, with stores in Mansfield, Hucknall, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Heanor, Gamston, Mapperley, Alvaston, Chaddesden, Wollaton, and Littleover, was sold to a Nottingham-based family business with over 50 years’ experience in pet products in August.
The successful pet store and grooming salon in Gamston will continue to operate as Pets & Friends but will receive investment in new décor, products, and more, with the store revamp expected to be complete by 9 November 2024.
Store Manager Chrissie Muir said, “We’re pleased to be the first Pets & Friends store to receive a revamp. From a new look and feel to new products, we’re sure customers and their pets will be happy with the latest changes in-store.”
She continued, “From free harness fitting to personalised nutrition plans and weight checks, our team members are always happy to help find the right products for your pet.”
The Gamston store also features a Pets Parlour spa and grooming service, which provides grooming services for all pets, from dogs to cats and small animals, with customers now able to book both in-store and online.
Pets are always welcome in-store, with free samples often available.
