Ten fire crews were called to a large field fire close to the A453 at Green Lane in Clifton.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews worked to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby properties and a telecommunications mast.
Specialist wildfire units from East Leake and Tuxford fire stations attended alongside the service’s drone team, a command support unit from Ashfield and a water bowser from Worksop.

Further support was provided by a water bowser from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service’s Loughborough station.
The operation was coordinated by specialist officers, including the fire service’s head of response and control room team.
Photographs shared by the service showed a large area of scorched field following the blaze.
