Picture appeal after woman reported to have been spiked

Officers are seeking the public’s help to identify two men they want to speak to after a woman was reportedly spiked.

Inquiries are ongoing into the incident which happened in Retford during the early hours of Sunday 22 February 2026.

As part of their investigative work, officers have now issued CCTV images of two men they want to trace in connection with the incident.

PC Zak Haynes, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Spiking is a horrible experience for anyone and as a force we are committed to tackling this crime type and ensuring that people on a night out feel safe.

“We believe the men pictured in this image will have information valuable to our investigation and would ask them, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward as soon as possible.” 

Anyone who recognises either of the men is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 232 of 23 February 2026 , or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
