Picture released after woman’s wallet stolen at a Nottingham bus stop

Police investigating the theft of a wallet at a Nottingham bus stop have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

The wallet was snatched from a woman’s bag as she waited for a bus in Lower Parliament Street, Nottingham city centre, on 25 May.

Officers believe the man pictured in this image may be able to help with their investigation and have asked him to come forward.

PCSO Megan Harlow, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“This was an upsetting incident for the victim and we are working to identify the person responsible.

“We believe the man pictured in this image may be able to help us with our investigation and we urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting crime number 24*309963.
