Picture shared after student assaulted at Nottingham Lace Market Tram Stop

Police have released images of a man they would like to trace after a student was set upon and assaulted in Nottingham.

 

The attack happened at around 3pm on Monday 17 March at Lace Market tram stop.

The victim, a 15-year-old boy, sustained facial injuries after he was attacked by a small group of people.

A 19-year-old man and 16-year-old girl have been arrested in connection with the incident. Officers are currently working to identify additional suspects and would like to trace the man in this image as part of their inquiries.

PC Manmeet Uppal, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“This was an upsetting incident for the victim and it was fortunate they were not more seriously hurt.
