The incident happened on the A46 near Leicester.
National Highways said at 1:38 pm:
‘This incident has now been cleared, and all lanes have been reopened. Thank you for your patience.’
Three lanes were closed in both directions after the incident at around 11 am on Monday 11 October 2021.
