Has anyone seen Langar & Barnstone’s community bench?
Residents are asking, does anyone know where it is? The residents would like it back please.
Located overlooking the villages’ shared recreation field, the bench was a gift to Langar & Barnstone as a tribute to all those touched by the COVID pandemic and to mark the local spirit and unity during the crisis.
It was recently vandalised with green graffiti and now has been ripped out of the ground – complete with metal anchors – and taken away.

The inscription will make it easy to identify.
Any sightings or knowledge of its whereabouts should be reported to the Parish Council via langarbarnstoneclerk@gmail.com and anonymity will be respected if preferred.
