The new store opened at 9 am on Thursday 28 November after five weeks of closure for the works.
Marks & Spencer West Bridgford has today, 28 November, officially reopened following a makeover to transform the shopping experience for customers.
Store Manager, Martin Kirkpatrick, was joined by special guest Percy Pig to host the ribbon cutting moment and officially declare the store open.
Inside the brand-new fresh market-style Foodhall, customers will find a bakery with a selection of fresh breads – including the retailer’s popular Collections Sourdough – with each loaf made through a 30-hour process and pastries baked throughout the day, as well as offering takeaway hot drinks, including barista-made coffee such as M&S’ famous Magic Coffee.
Over 100 ‘Remarksable’ value everyday staples will also be available across the store, price benchmarked against key competitors.
Other highlights include a transformed Flower Shop and Wine Shop, as well as Click and Collect for online Clothing, Home and Beauty orders.
With the festive season just around the corner, M&S West Bridgford shoppers will be able to stock up on the Christmas food line up from the build your own Charcuter-Tree to recently launched Choc Marks bars and Swiss Caramel and Milk Chocolate Clouds.
Store Manager, Martin Kirkpatrick, who has been at M&S for 17 years, said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome the West Bridgford community back to their newly transformed M&S store.
“From the stunning fresh Bakery to our revamped Flower and Wine Shops, every detail has been designed with our customers in mind, ensuring we deliver the quality and value they expect from M&S.
“It’s been fantastic to see the excitement and energy on opening day, and we’re especially proud to offer a shopping experience that combines convenience, innovation, and the very best of M&S. We’re looking forward to welcome shoppers, both regular and new, to the new store.”
The store is located at Albert Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, United Kingdom, NG2 5GS. The store’s opening hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Saturday and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays.
The layout is similar to the rebrand that’s been rolled out across M&S Food stores across the UK. As part of that the store is now M&S Food – rather than M&S Food Hall.
