Nottinghamshire firefighters rescued the horse from a ditch in Regatta Way.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘Last week we were called to a horse rescue on Regatta Way, Gamston.
‘Crews from London Road, Highfields, Newark and East Leake attended.
‘It took around 90mins to safely rescue the horse from the ditch, where mud and water was up to its’ shoulders.’
