The Queen’s Baton Relay for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham arrived in Nottingham by kayak today.
The baton was escorted by staff from Canal & Waterways Trust.
After visiting the England versus India cricket match at Trent Bridge the baton and its bearer took to the water on the Nottingham Canal and disembarked in front of the Magistrates’ Court before carrying the baton on its way to more celebrations at the Castle.
