The A38 has reopened after the earlier incident.
National Highways said:
‘The A38 westbound between the M1 J28 and the B600 Alfreton has been cleared following the earlier collision and is now fully open again. Delays in the area should start easing now.’
The road was closed at around 5:30 am on Monday 24 January.

Derbyshire Police led the response to the ongoing incident and closed the carriageway to allow them to work at scene. National Highways provided resources to assist with traffic management.
