The Taste of Rushcliffe Food Festival is underway in Central Avenue West Bridgford.
Rushcliffe Borough Council’s free annual food festival takes place in the town from 10am to 4 pm and all market traders will be open for business from 9am.
The Croquet Lawn will also have a hot street food picnic area featuring Indian, Caribbean, Thai and Middle Eastern cuisine with a fully licensed bar, live music and a DJ.
Children and young people can also participate in free activities and cookery classes making light bites such as summer couscous salad and mini Greek filled pitta breads and decorating cupcakes.
ABL Health will be hosting a smoothie bike, where children and adults alike can pedal their way to nutritious smoothies.
Cocktails and coffee
Cocktail fans and coffee connoisseurs can also join in with cocktail and coffee masterclasses delivered by The Parlour in West Bridgford, which coincides with West Bridgford Way’s exclusive coffee and cocktail trail running throughout July.
