The Great Nottingham Duck Race is an annual charity event on the River Trent.
This event consists of Rotary Club of Trent Bridge selling tickets for a yellow plastic duck during Nottingham’s Riverside Festival.
Each year they launch over 7,000 ducks into the River Trent from the suspension bridge and watch them race down towards the finish line at the world famous Trent Bridge.
Today, they plummeted into the river, with a few delayed ducks that were not so keen!
