Around a dozen caravans, motorhomes and cars are parked towards the rear of the car park at Rushcliffe Arena, the headquarters of Rushcliffe Borough Council and its leisure centre.

A barrier designed to prevent access to vehicles over 2 metres ( 6’6″ ) in height is open or has been damaged.

In October 2018 the Rushcliffe Arena car park was used by travellers.

In June this year David Lloyd’s leisure centre car park was used as a stop-off point too.

The land is council-owned and Rushcliffe Borough Council have been contacted for comment.
