Britain’s 4th Asian Wedding Awards 2020 – organized by Oceanic Consulting – celebrated the hard work and commitment of Britain’s ever-growing wedding industry.

Midland Mandaps Ltd won the top prize in their category. Joint managing director, Bobby Sharma, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award two years on the trot. Thank you to everyone that voted for us, the wedding business is highly competitive so to receive this award again is fantastic and a testament to our passion for the industry.

“Our primary business is mandap hire but we have expanded our services of the years to cater for all event décor for weddings, private parties and corporate events. We have had the opportunity to work at some amazing venues around the country.”

A Mandap is a temporary 4-pillar structure erected for use during the Hindu wedding. All the main wedding ceremonies take place under the mandap. “Traditionally real wood structures are used but we have expanded our range to include more modern and contemporary Mandaps such as Floral Draped and beautifully carved fibreglass,” added Bobby.
