David Carter has decorated his house for ten years, seven of those years to raise funds for the RSPCA Animal Shelter in Radcliffe, where he is a trustee.
There’s still time to catch the display.
David said:
‘It’s that time of year again and I will be lighting up my home with a fantastic Christmas Display to raise money for charity.
‘For the past 10 years I have put on a mesmerizingly festive Christmas display outside my home to raise money for charity.

‘This will be the 7th year in which he will be raising money for the RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre.
Santa Claus performed the “Grand Switch On” on Sunday 27 November plus, there was be a raffle with excellent prizes and stalls selling Christmas gifts.

David added:
‘My display will be raising money for the RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre to which I am affiliated. All donations go towards helping to care for all the wonderful animals and the running of the centre and they will be very much appreciated.

‘The Centre is funded independently and receives no financial aid from the RSPCA National Society. Last year despite Covid Restrictions I raised nearly £3,500.
‘This year I would like to exceed this amount especially because of the cost-of-living crisis our costs have skyrocketed.

‘Also, with the pandemic our fundraising has been hit very hard.
‘Donations can be made by popping money into the red collection box outside the house or you can simply text to ‘RSPCALIGHTS 5’to 70085 to donate £5, or text ‘RSPCA LIGHTS 10’ to 70085 to donate £10, alternately one can use the QR code on the notice board this uses the just giving system and utilises gift aid.

The Christmas Display will be on daily from 4pm – 9pm until 1 January.
